Our school is nestled in 10 Acres of Lush Green Campus to nurture your child’s conscience and intellect in a sound atmosphere.

The mainstream curriculum framed by the central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) gives importance to acquiring intellectual skills as well as life skills to face global challenges. Facilities are provided to children with special needs as well.

We encourage children to develop as independent thinkers and learners and be responsible to the self and members of the community by providing intellectual, physical and creative activities. We focus on ensuring that children are able to demonstrate a high level of confidence and enthusiasm.

Regular CCA programs are offered to provide an opportunity and platform for students of the school to search, bring out and polish his/her innate talents. Students are given option to join any one of the twelve clubs to hone their talents, under guidance by trained faculty. SJIS offers extra-curricular activities that help students imbibe valuable lessons in social development and responsibilities. Diverse activities like Music, Dance, Martial Arts (Taekwondo), Drawing, Crafts, Board Games, Lifeskill sessions and Screentime are all offered.

DAY CARE

Day Care facility available from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm

Daycare is a safe, secure, and stimulating environment that positively engages and celebrates children and their families through a childcare support system.

A home away from home, which are managed by committed and experienced teachers with a strong background in care-giving and early years learning, who personalize the experience to accommodate each child’s emotional, social and intellectual needs and temperament.

PRE SCHOOL (Pre-KG, LKG & UKG)

We follow the British “Letterland”, a curriculum designed to help each child explore his or her innate potential. This child-friendly approach instills the joy of learning which sets the tone for the rest of their lives. The creative play-way activities toned with the world of music, colour and toys stimulate the curiosity, guide them and help them to acquire skills, which make a positive difference to the formative years. Of course our teachers like what they do.

We have managed to keep class size to under 25 and will strive to keep it going. Admission is subject to the seats available. There would be no admission test. However, parents are advised to understand the methodology and guiding principle before taking admission.

PRIMARY SCHOOL

For a child, primary education is a crucial cornerstone for intellectual development. The skills they build and acquire during their primary years are the foundation of their life time of learning. With this in mind, St. Johannes International School has instituted a flexible syllabus which aims to accelerate students’ progress by using activity-based learning to encourage enthusiasm, motivation and confidence in all subject matters.

After going through the syllabus, your child will be interested and group learning and focused thinking skills in all areas, they will have the foundation required to be highly successful in life. Our students are continually assessed through the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) grading standard. You will be informed on your child’s progress and be given feedback on how to help your child develop further.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

The Middle School years provide the young and the adolescents with a challenging and supportive experience as it is a bridge between the foundation building activities of the primary school and the more formal and challenging demands of the Senior Secondary level. The Middle School Programme offers an expanded curriculum to match the growing abilities of children in assimilating information and grasping abstract ideas. It helps the ease of their smooth transition to the Senior Secondary level. Forward thinking and Creative Arts are also encouraged to hone their latent talents.

Key concepts and strategies are introduced and developed to help students learn on their own. The emphasis is on being visually creative and enterprising, developing the right study habits, and acquiring in-depth conceptual knowledge. The curriculum is activity oriented, based on teamwork via discussions, group project work, discovery and exploration. A wide range of teaching and learning strategies are employed in all areas of the curriculum.
