Our pride lies in the state-of-the-art ‘Play pen’ designed to suit the taste and requisites of toddlers, who have just learnt to walk and talk. It is not meant for developing academic skills. Homely atmosphere and caring teachers focus on the sensory, motor and social development. Our toddlers are only too happy to wonder, think, feel, and imagine. Children who go to play school do better in play school. Admission is given to children above 2.5 years
We believe that when we help children take the time to look at a friend whose feeling they’ve hurt, we are increasing their social emotional skills in the area of social relations. It takes time for children to learn how to respond sympathetically to peers in need and express empathy for others. This is a developing skill and our staff will always help children develop this skill in the area of social relations. We will also try to help children read and understand the facial cues of others when they are verbally or physically aggressive towards one another.
School transportation enables transportation service to students giving an on-time, responsive and safe transportation. This allows parents, teachers, and school administrators to assess the transportation services quality. Every bus has a support staff to ensure proper discipline & safety of students

Our school has a very good and well maintained library, which has books comprising of different cateories, which gives our students an opportunity to read and develop their reading habit. This facility helps them to gain knowledge related to academic society and general knowledge.
St. Johannes International School is run by the Believers Eastern Church Education Board. Our goal is to provide a strong educational foundation which will benefit students throughout their lives.
Inspired by our founder Metropolitan Bishop of Believer’s Eastern Church, His Eminence Moran Mor Athanasius Yohan I Metropolitan, we thought of continuing his endeavour of social service. We decide to complete his dream by imparting education to the younger generation.
June 1st 2016 (Wednesday), A RED LETTER DAY in the annals of the Believers Eastern Church, when a star falls from Heaven to enlighten generation of children. Prompted by our Great Bishop His Eminence Moran Mor Athanasius Yohan-I Metropolitan, St. Johannes International School took its shape.
On 2016 June 1st, the inaugural ceremony of the St. Johannes International School, Kakkanad commenced with the Lighting of Lamp by Mrs. K. K. Neenu, the Municipal Chairperson of Thrikkakara Municipality. In the first year, we started with Kindergarten and had only 15 students, two teachers and one supporting staff. The strength went on increasing due to missionary zeal, the family puts behind it. In the sixth year, 2021-2022 we upgraded to VII standard with approximately 200 students.
I believe education is a shared commitment among students, teachers and enthusiastic parents. Education is a process of building a lifelong process which creates an environment of understanding and ethical values to guide them in the right path. We focus on complete development of our students by involving them in both scholastic & co-scholastic activities as suggested by CBSE. Teachers at our school are highly qualified and experienced educators who are committed to supporting each student’s learning experience. We also believe that parents play a vital role in the education of their children and their involvement is equally important. We are happy to have our parents take an active role in the education of their children and to be the active participants in our school life.
